We are proud to announce that for the second year running, a delegate from our Adobe InDesign training course has won the Midlands4Cities Research Festival 2019 Poster Presentation which took place on the 23rd May 2019.
The winner of the display competition was Bettina Bodi who delivered a game-avatar concept poster based on her thesis “Agency as Game Design Affordance in Avatar-Based Video Games”. Betti can be found on Twitter at @betti_bodi.
The M4C event provides an opportunity for doctoral students to showcase their projects to a public audience. The research was displayed and performed in research relays, posters and digital stories.
Being based at the University of Nottingham’s Jubliee Campus, has meant that some students haven’t had to travel far from home to get to the two day training sessions. In total, 18 students attended a crash course in Adobe InDesign, followed by advice on presenting research information in poster format.
Our Adobe InDesign courses are delivered by an Adobe Certified Instructor with more than 10 years experience using InDesign for commercial print and digital work. For more information about the Introduction to Adobe InDesign training check out the course page.
