The University have put in special measures to ensure all areas within our building are sanitised regularly. Special attention is paid to the cleaning of desks, chairs, screens, keyboards, mousemats and mice.

Due to the situation, the on-site restaurant is not yet open, so we are unable to provide catered lunches until further notice. We encourage you to bring lunch and refreshments, although we will have drinks and refreshments available with a good supply of hand sanitiser and antibacterial wipes.

Workshop Overview

We believe that supporting our students after they have completed their training is a big part of the knowledge transfer process. For many, attending a training course is just the beginning. The process of developing a good working practise and discovering new techniques starts as soon as you begin to use your new skills. All our trainers provide students with post course contact details, so that if you have any questions, we can be there to point you in the right direction.

With technical concepts, it is sometimes just easier to ask a question face to face. All our post course workshop days are provided free of charge for everyone who has attended a training course with us in the past. No matter how long it has been since you attended a course, or whether you have already attended a workshop day before, we are happy to provide you with a trainer to answer any questions you may have.

In most cases, we will try to ensure that the trainer from your course is available to help you during the day. If this is not possible, we will endeavour to provide you with a designer or developer who is capable of answering any questions you may have relating to your project.

Workshop Format

The workshop days generally run from 9:30am to 3pm but you are welcome to arrive at any time during the day and stay until all your questions have been answered.

You are very welcome to bring your projects along with you to look at with the trainer. You are also free to bring your own laptop if that will make your life a little easier.

Workshop Requirements

The workshop days are FREE of charge to all students that have already attended a course with us. You are welcome to attend as many workshop days as you feel necessary.

The workshop day places are limited. If you wish to attend a workshop day, please make a booking to avoid disappointment and ensure that a place is reserved for you. Simply select the date above that you wish to attend and fill in the course booking form.

If for whatever reason, you are unable to attend a booked workshop day, please let us know as soon as possible so that we may make the space available to other candidates. If you fail to cancel your place on a workshop session and do not attend, your eligibility to attend future sessions may be affected.

We see these workshop days as a way of giving something back to the web design community in Nottingham and the rest of the UK.

Attendance of the workshop sessions is at the discretion of the course trainer. We endeavour to provide support for as long as is reasonably needed by students.

Workshop Location

The workshop days are run from our rooms on Jubilee Campus in Nottingham, which is part of the University of Nottingham's Innovation Park. These are serviced by a state-of-the-art tram system allowing easy access to the city centre as well as direct hourly rail services from London, Liverpool, Manchester, Birmingham, Derby and Leicester.
