As the name suggests, Dehaze is capable of removing haziness from photographs as well as the ability to add a bit of haze for effect.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Haze can really be defined as selective <strong>low contrast<\/strong> areas within the midtones of the histogram. It\u2019s possible to perform similar actions to Dehaze through the <strong>Curves panel<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Moving the Dehaze feature from the Effect panel to the <strong>Basic panel in Camera Raw<\/strong> means that it fits more logically within the ACR workflow. Many photographers would expect to apply Dehaze during the initial stages of correction, and as such, it\u2019s now available from the starting Basic panel.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"wp-image-269 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.webstudiotraining.co.uk\/course\/wp-content\/uploads\/photoshop-dehaze-tool-cc2018-1.png\" alt=\"photoshop cc dehaze\" width=\"673\" height=\"465\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.webstudiotraining.co.uk\/course\/wp-content\/uploads\/photoshop-dehaze-tool-cc2018-1.png 673w, https:\/\/www.webstudiotraining.co.uk\/course\/wp-content\/uploads\/photoshop-dehaze-tool-cc2018-1-300x207.png 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 673px) 100vw, 673px\" \/><br \/>\nThe Dehaze option has moved from the Effects panel to the Basic panel<\/em><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>Using Dehaze in Adobe Photoshop CC<\/h2>\n<ol>\n<li>Open your image<\/li>\n<li>Convert your image into a <strong>smart object<\/strong> (Filter &gt; Convert for Smart Filters).
