I want to be a web designer

One of the most common questions we get asked is - "where do I start if I want to be a professional web designer?"

In most cases, the simplest answer to this question is – "Start learning HTML and CSS". In reality, the web design industry is made up of people with all kinds of skills and a number of jobs in the industry don't even require knowledge of HTML or CSS.

Many web design teams are made up of project managers, designers, developers, copywriters and search engine consultants. It is rare that one person does everything and even rarer when one person can perform more than one role to a high standard. It can take a couple of years to figure out exactly which role you are most suited to.

If you decide that you want to be involved in the building of the web pages, then we suggest looking at the following courses.
